Before I had Kendi, family and friends would ask me, ‘How many children do you want?’ ‘I don’t know’ I’d begin, ‘Maybe 10’. I have always wanted a big family. Most, if not all of the people I had told that to, were certain that I would change my mind once I had my first child. It didn’t. Now with Kendi here, I want that even more.
In the social development and gender world where I work, there is great importance put on the work that women do at home. I am very proud to be a mother. I am especially proud that I am parenting with my husband Martin, who is the sweetest man on the planet.
Writing invigorates me and I am excited to share my world with my readers.
